Veterans Homeless Camps

It’s unimaginable that veterans could be homeless in America, yet it’s a harsh reality for many. These heroes, who have served in conflicts from World War II and the Korean War to Afghanistan and Iraq, often face mental health challenges that contribute to their struggles.

But these challenges are not a justification to leave them without shelter or support. We owe every homeless veteran our gratitude, respect, and action to ensure they receive the care and dignity they deserve.

Homeless Building Project

Many neighborhoods are scattered with vacant buildings that hold incredible potential. These abandoned spaces can be transformed into safe havens and affordable homes, providing shelter and dignity to those in need. Converting these properties into livable housing is not only a feasible solution but an initiative we can all take part in to create lasting change in our communities.

It's ok to be kind...

Eli wandered the city streets, longing not just for food/shelter but to be seen and acknowledged. His sketches were often met with indifference, making him feel invisible. One evening, a man stopped to admire his drawing of a bird. When he asked why it looked so free, Eli replied, “Because it doesn’t have to fight to be seen.”

For a brief moment, he felt seen, but as the walked away, the isolation returned. Eli, holding on to hope that one day he’d not only be noticed but embraced by society.
